Flights to Riyadh will launch on October 1. It will be Cebu Pacific's third long-haul destination in the Middle East after Dubai and Kuwait. The flights will be operated to the Saudi Arabian capital three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Manila at 5:55pm and arrive in Riyadh at 10:35pm.

According to Alex Reyes, General Manager of Cebu Pacific's long-haul division, the Middle East market is a key market for the budget carrier as it is home to more than two million overseas Filipino workers. "We have long wanted to serve the substantial population of global Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," said Reyes. "It will be our utmost pleasure to bring them home more often, on our extensive network and trademark low fares that are up to 35% lower than other airlines."

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific intends to launch its fourth long-haul destination in the Middle East on October 4, when it introduces direct service between Manila and Dammam. The flights will be operated three times weekly every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Flights will depart Manila at 9:55pm and arrive in Dammam at 2:40am the following day. The return flight will depart Dammam on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 4:10am, arriving in Manila at 6:35pm.

"Cebu Pacific is proud to offer all our kababayans in Saudi Arabia, P1 fares and year-round low fares that are up to 40 percent lower than what's being offered by other airlines," said Reyes. "Cebu Pacific also offers the most convenient connections to the most number of destinations in the Philippines."

According to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, there are more than 1 million Filipinos currently residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new flights will be operated by a brand new 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft that was just delivered on September 2. Cebu Pacific recently launched its latest long-haul flights to Kuwait and Sydney, Australia earlier this week.
