DFA Launches e-Payment Portal for Passports Nationwide

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), under Foreign Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano announced that they will be opening 100,000 slots for passport appointment today. There were 50,000 slots opened at 12 noon while the remaining 50,000 slots will be available by 9:00 PM.

After the holidays on 15 June 2018, Friday, the DFA plans to open 10,000 additional slots Mondays to Saturdays wherein 5,000 will be opened by 12 noon while the remaining is at 9:00 PM.

ePAYMENT PORTAL
The new ePayment Portal to obtain a passport was recently launched at the DFA ASEANA site. The DFA plans to launch within the National Capital Region on or before the first week of July 2018, while the nationwide access is set on or before the first week of August 2018. This will help Filipinos to experience a faster and more convenient processing for getting a passport.

a. Where can passport applicants pay their passport processing fees?

  • Bayad Center
  • EcPay
  • Pera Hub
  • Robinson's Business Center and Department Stores
  • Waltermart Department Store
  • 7-11
  • USCC (Western Union)
  • Villarica Pawnshop
  • Credit/Debit card payment facility will be made available soon
b. Is the payment reference number specifically assigned to one (1) payment center?
  • No, a reference number is universal to all payment centers so you can conveniently pay at any of the authorized payment centers.
c. Can I use my payment reference number more than once?
  • No, a reference number can only be used once.
d. How much is the processing fee?
  • Passport applicants are expected to pay the following:
    • Expedited processing: Php 1,200
    • Regular processing: Php 950.00
    • Convenience Fee: Php 50.00 (charged by authorized Payment Centers
