AIRPORT QUICK GUIDE: Soekarno-Hatta International Airport
The Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is the main airport serving the city of Jakarta, Indonesia. It was named after Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta, who were the first president and vice-president of Indonesia. This airport is considered the 7th most connected airport in the world according to OAG, an air travel intelligence company, and more improvements can be seen as they continue with the Automated People Mover System (APMS). It has three terminals serving almost 58 million passengers based on 2016 statistics. Domestic flights are served in terminal 1 while terminals 2 and 3 are used for international and domestic flights.
WIFI/INTERNET
Free WiFi is available for tourist but it is not clear which network you need to connect to. As of travel, one successful connection made is using the 'AsianGames2018' network. Once you selected it, it will open a welcome page and ask you to tap 'Continue' to get free internet access. Speedtest was done with 21.0 Mbps and 18.0 Mbps for download and upload, respectively. However, the connection easily disconnects and does not automatically connect you back.
