  1. AirAsia Philippines is the worst airline for me.

    I frequently travel and never had major problems with other airlines.

    Truly disgusted at how they care for their customers. I made reservations and paid for 3 tickets (with 2-3 pax each) last April 19, 2013.

    On May 24, 2013, they sent mass notices of flight cancellations aka reschedule-without-new-dates emails to customers. Apparently, all flights scheduled for June 15 onwards leaving Clark were cancelled.

    Almost a month had passed and no updates were given. A lot of us were left in the dark as to the status of our flights and our money!

    I religuosly followed up on all their channels (e-form, twitter, facebook, etc.)...to no avail!

    With the help of Civil Aeronautics Board c/o Atty. WyrLou Semidio (Legal Head) and DTI c/o Ma. Carolina I. Carbonell (OIC Consumer Assistance and Protection Division), I finally was able to get updates and they started to process my refund.

    I filed for refund on May 29. It’s now July 3 and AND STILL NO REFUND has been credited to my bank account falsely claiming that I still have not submitted my bank details and asking me to file, yet again, another E-form.

    Worst customer service. Worst airline. I felt robbed in broad daylight.

    2. same here. they offered cheap airfares, that's why we booked our flight from clark-sg. however, 2 months before our trip we got an email that our flight has been cancelled. i filed for a full refund last July 16 2013 thru their website's e-form, twitter and fb acct. i made a follow up every other week and every ff up is so tiresome coz their customer service doesn't address my concern. they claimed that the refund has been forwarded to my bank acct last aug 7 2013. however, it's almost a month now and the amount is not yet credited.
      so stressful and frustrating.

    3. I fully agree, we travel a long way to finally arrive at Clark but they suddenly cancelled it. Our flights were rescheduled to Manila but no sorry or anything for compensation. It adds several hours travel to our destination. Nothing for compensation. Very poor. Last time AirAsia for us. Cheap yes, but cheap service too.

    4. Fully agree. The only way to have a chance to get a refund is to involve the Civil Aeronautics Board. I am currently in the middle of this process and Air Asia sent their reply to the Legal Department that they will pay. For me, never Air Asia Philippines again.

  2. AirAsia is a fun airline.

    I've taken AirAsia Philippines twice (once fron Kuala Lumpur and once to Hong Kong).

    Booking with them is easy. I was also able to change my booking easily with no problems.

    The cabin isn't boring at all since the choice of colors was smart with black seats. There is also a quite zone with seats that have red covers.

    The cabin crew are very friendly and tidy. They served every passenger with a smile on their face.

    Cabin crew also immediately go out of the galley when you need them.

    It's really worth taking this airline because you will have, as one of their taglines say, "A RED-HOT EXPERIENCE!"

  4. My flight with Zest Air last Aug. 2 was delayed for almost 12 HOURS. Our original flight was re-booked to another flight that was scheduled the same day. Apparently, Zest Air Management has no intention on explaining what was the cause of the delay since no Supervisor or Manager was able to address our complaints. It's very disappointing that ZEST AIR HAS NO RESPECT FOR ITS CUSTOMERS!!!

  5. Airasia/pilipinas is a shit airline..cancelling flights willy-nilly without an ounce of empathy for those affected,nor any assistance with re-booking with them via Airasia/Malaysia or Zest,as has happened to me ,Clark to KL and return.
    I am booked again for two more excursions(involving the Clark legs)But I have heard NOTHING from them re the cancellation of any flights from Clark.
    In FACT..Airasia/Pilipinas have NO records of those up-and -coming booked flights..both of which have booking codes which I have quoted to them,via their website.
    Steer clear of Airasia..they may go broke,but they won't inform anyone..they'll just keep their netsite open and keep auto-booking we foolish travelers seeking cheaper flights.
    Also..i spent hours writing a review of my flight experience with them,but the page would not send because the cabin question three was jammed on"ecomomy",even tho' it was economy i had flown...piss-poor,and not worth all the grey hairs and expletives uttered trying to get anywhere with them when things go egg-shaped!!Now..i will see if this comment will send...crossed fingers and testicles...!!

  7. This is to formalize my complaint on AIR ASIA ZESTAIR. Our flight Kalibo-Mla (Z2273) last Dec 30, 2013 ETD 3:00pm was moved down to 4:20pm. But we boarded the plane 9:30pm.Let me give you the lowdown on our terrible flight.

    Our flight was at 3:00pm, so we left our hotel at 10:30am to make sure we comply with the 2hrs before flight requirement. Upon check in, we were informed that the 3:00pm flight has been bumped down to 4:20pm. But tickets issued still reflected the original 3:00pm ETD. 4:20pm came & went with vague explanations of the delay & status of our flight. To make a long story short, we waited 8.5 hours in NAIA4/MIA! I stormed the check in booth at 8:00pm to request them to serve us food due to the super long wait. They acceded but we were served a measly carinderia meal & 375ml bottled water. My sister had LBM the next day & until the next 2 days, including fever.

    We’ve always flown Zest Air & this is the first time this happened. I want to know what happened/why flight was really delayed & source of the food they served us.

Air Asia Zest - Worst Customer Service Airline shared a link.Dec 9, 2013 · ATTENTION: IMPORTANT NOTICEAs per Civil Aeronautics Board representative, the joint DOTC and DTI Administrative Order No. 1 Series of 2012 otherwise known as the Air Passenger Bill of Rights of the Philippines clearly indicates that approved refund requests SHOULD BE PAID-OUT BY THE AIRLINE COMPANY WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) WORKING DAYS!All unpaid refund therefore that are more than FIFTEEN WORKING DAYS already are a clear violation of the provision in law.The Civil Aeronautics Board is currently on the process of penalizing the airline for such violation. I am at the moment trying to get refund of $1218 because of 2 surnames on the tickets did not quite match on passport....they did not want to give a receipt untill I threatend to put their name all over the WEB and that got the result! ▲I Their eform would not allow me to upload relevant files and yet I managed on their FB page...but was told to use their eform instead..Iam very angry and will soon use FB, TWITTER..social media...local radio and ofcourse CONSUMER AFFAIRS...surely a nation can not allow an airline to transport their citizens without legal protection!
    That maybe the only option left..to use the law to change their flawed business model.

  14. NEVER EVER BUY TICKETS FROM AIRASIA , MY REFUND WAS APPROVED LAST JULY 31, 2014. AND UP UNTIL NOW I HAVENT RECEIVE ANYTHING. THEY WERE CLAIMING THAT MY REFUND WAS ALREADY SENT TO THE BANK, BUT AFTER ASKING THEM THE ARN, THEY ARE ALWAYS SAYING THAT IT WAS ALREADY RELATED TO THE CORRESPONDING DEPARTMENT!!!!

  17. I have bad experience when we have so many to hold in airport .but when we go to chek in they said we can go to terminal 4. But when i go their.they said they cannot giv my refund and thier cause i buy my ticket online .what should i do plz help me answer i waiting thier last day for so long time in the middle of hot weather..what i should i do i so dis appointed for that reason ..im waiting for your kind answer plz

Flight Z2-765 which was scheduled to depart from Manila to Cebu on 17 July 2015 at 03.00Pm (1500H) and flight Z2-766 which was scheduled to depart from Cebu to Manila on 19 July 2015 at 04:50Pm (1650H) BUT to my GREAT DISMAY, BOTH FLIGHTS were DELAYED and RETIMED, and yes we waited for more than FIVE (5) HOURS! And as a result of my delayed flights, I missed two (2) important meetings on said days (presentation and rehearsals, etc.), and incurred an additional cost for the hotel venue I’ve rented for the rehearsal’s final run and programs. I practically lost not just thrice as much as the amount I paid for my tickets. THE WORST AIRLINE EVER!!!

  24. AirAsia PH retimed my flight earlier, which conflicted with my other schedules. Since my sched for that day is very tight, I requested that it be retimed to a much later flight or have it cancelled instead. Their answer not possible and that we just go for no show.. which means thank you 10,000 pesos!!

Second, four times I was flying with them, and four times there was a delay of 2-5 hours. Now, I'm sitting in Cebu airport and waiting for their flight to Manila with a delay of about 4 hours, while Cebu Pacific and PAL have already sent 2 flights each. Third, the customer service is simply non-existent. Try to get anything from them, they simply don't respond to emails and never return calls. So, don't be attracted to their promos. They are worthless.

  28. AVOID FLYING WITH AIR ASIA PART 2

    4. I've approached the passenger assistance desk of AirAsia in NAIA 4 several times to check on any updates. When I approached them at around 8:30 PM to ask what time we are boarding the flight with the new ETD of 8:45PM, I was then advised that the aircraft has already landed and that it should be in a couple of minutes. After 5 minutes, I clarified the new ETD and was informed THAT SHE WAS MISTAKEN, THAT THE AIRCRAFT HAS NOT YET LANDED and that the ETD IS NO LONGER 8:45PM. She previously told me that any updates will immediately be announced yet she waited for a couple of passengers to go to their desk before being forced to make the announcement. This was the same lady who told me the first time around that the delay was caused by ramp congestion (default reason) and THAT I STILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO GO OUT THE AIRPORT AND MAYBE SMOKE SOME CIGARETTES. Thank you AirAsia for putting my lungs as your top most priority and being on time as your least concern.

  29. AVOID FLYING WITH AIR ASIA PART 3

    5. It was around 7:45 PM when they started handing out banana loafs and a tiny bottle of water as snacks/compensation for being delayed 2 hours or less. I did not get any of these snacks because I did not want agree to their compensation and because I knew that we would be stuck in the airport for at least 3 hours total. This would mean that AirAsia should provide a meal instead of a snack. At around 8:45 PM, I asked them if they will be ordering meals instead of snacks, they said NO and that even if they do, it would take them 2 hours to do it. THEY DISTRIBUTE JOLLIBEE MEALS, JOLLIBEE DOES DELIVERY FOR 30 minutes OR LESS. Also, when I brought up the options for passengers with flights 3 or more hours delayed (meals, refund or reaccommodation), the same lady who told me to light a cigarette outside, said that these options are only available if the flights are delayed for at least 4 hours. I IMMEDIATELY SHOWED THEM THE PAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT GAZETTE stating the Air Passenger Bill of Rights, to which they then asked if I wanted a refund. ..........???

    6. The top of the cherry is ROWELL MAÑOZA, who at around 9:00 PM came out of nowhere together with the manager who needed a make-up tutorial, asked me to weigh and measure my hand carry luggage. I told him that I have measured this and it's exactly 56cm X 36cm X 23cm. I know the dimensions by heart because I've measured my luggage several times and AirAsia nor Cebu Pacific or PAL has asked me to check this luggage in prior to this incident. When I asked for a tape measure or a rule to show them the exact measurements of my luggage conforms to their requirements, he said that THEY DO NOT HAVE A TAPE MEASURE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT A CLOTHING COMPANY. Where did you hire this person from? The sweatshop? I've always travel light whenever I go home to Manila. You can check my history in your system. MY LUGGAGE IS 56in X 36in X 23in and perfectly fits the cabin aisle and cabin compartment. I WANT A REFUND FOR THE FORCED and OUT OF THEIR WHIM CHECKED BAGGAGE.

    7. I attempted to record the different inconsistent reasons and advice they gave me and the other delayed passengers. THEY SAID THAT I SHOULD RESPECT THEM AND THAT CAPTURING THEM ON VIDEO WOULD BE REASONS TO OFFLOAD ME. How can I be offloaded if I'm not even on the aircraft yet? IS THIS REASON ENOUGH THAT A GROUND CREW CAN THREATEN A PASSENGER DENIED BOARDING? IS THIS WHAT AIRASIA RESULT TO WHEN YOU GET CORNERED?

    I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN FLYING WITH ANY AIRASIA FLIGHT. I WILL ALSO ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO TRAVEL WITH ANY AIRLINE OTHER THAN AIRASIA, through social media and word of mouth.

    FIX YOUR PROBLEMS OR LEAVE THE DOMESTIC FLIGHTS TO PAL AND CEBUPAC.

  30. Don't ever board on this Airline, for you will be always delayed for many hours. we booked a flight to someplace but ended up waiting 10 hours before we got on board. In exchange for waiting 10 hours because of delayed flights, they only gave us chicken joh meals from jollibee but did not give us refund! Our flight is scheduled 8:10 pm but we boarded 3 am already! Believe me delay happens everytime on their planes and whichever destination you choose using this airline!Their excuses were something like an aircraft malfunctioned that caused a domino effect on other planes. DON'T EVER BOOK A FLIGHT IN AIRASIA because the refund will be given only after 90 days and there is no emergency rebooking service available! You'll end up forfeiting your flight for emergency situations! VERY POOR SERVICE QUALITY in my opinion!

  51. We booked 4 flights with this airline. Either on the day, shortly before the flight or a day before the flight date, they changed the flight time. And i don't mean to a reasonable time. For example, one flight was changed from 3pm to 2:20am the following morning. Absolutely unreliable airline - do not book with them if you have connecting flights, if you have booked trips or activities, if you intend to be somewhere at a certain time or time period. Some delays are acceptable but changing 75% of flight times is incredibly disruptive, poor planning and embarrassingly poor customer customer services. Incredible that they can offer you a flight date, time and price and then change it a day before you fly. It is anti-competitive, a breach of contract and unethical business practice.
